Raining today....

Hi Everybody,
Just for a change today we have rain..... heavy rain.
Good job I grabbed the opportunity yesterday to go out in the garden to do a bit of tidying up and plant a couple of pots.
The rest of the time I spent in the work room...... trying to get ahead
of myself and make a start on some Easter cards, here's my
efforts....
For the Easter cards I used papers from my stash, for the boarders I used Martha Stewart double looped punches, ribbons from the SU range, brads from Hobby craft and the MAS rubber stamps.
I also made a couple of Birthday cards to add to my selection ready for any 2010 birthdays .
Oops!!! here comes hubby, home unexpectedly he always seems to catch me out.........
Catchca later.
Hope every one is well......

Hasty Cards

Hi everybody.
Hope you are keeping safe and well in this treacherous weather.....
Still have not been out in the car yet !!!!
Our main roads are better but all the side Roads are horrible.
Had news over the weekend my sister was taken into hospital so I hastily made her a card, that was the easy bit the walking up to the post box to post it was not....
For her I have made a get Well card using Card from my SU stash which I love the colours and co-ordinated trims etc you are able to get, the black card for letters from my stash and used Quickutz mini alphabet chick-a-dee cutters. The stamp which I coloured using SU water colours is one which my daughter stamped for me using her rubber stamp from the many..... she has.
The second card I just did as I was inspired by the Crafty Cook.
The stamp was also from my daughters collection which is a Cornish Heritage Farm stamp called the Frog Chorus.
The green card is SU card from my stash and the lettering are Rub ons.
Hope you like, must dash as tea is cooking and don't want to burn......
Catch you later.

House bound!!!!

Hi,
Woke up this morning to more snow and black ice.
My husband told me to leave the car in the garage and stay indoors as it was icy cold and quite treacherous outside.
I did not need to be told twice so indoors I'll stay.....
I thought I might try out my Magnolia stamp I got before Christmas from CUL.
The card and pink ,turquoise card I used from my stash
the letters and flower were cut using QuicKutz Birthday Die cuts and the flower using QicKutz Nesting Flower die cuts.
Hope you all are keeping safe in this weather.
Catcha later

Sorry I have not been blogging due to the holidays etc,

So here are the end results,

About Me

I am a recently retired lady, with a very understanding husband and two grown up daughters. My eldest daughter is married to an equally if not more understanding husband as she is a crafting fanatic. She is the one who has persistently encouraged me to do card making and scrap booking in the past. Which I thank her for the encouragement.
